Painting Competition Winner Announced this Saturday

Before we dive into what’s coming, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you for the competition we just wrapped up. We had dozens of submissions from all across the valley, and everyone from seven-year old’s holding their very first brush to hardened veterans wearing headlamps and magnifying glasses participated.

We’ll be announcing the winner this Saturday (June 1st), so keep an eye on our social media.

Upcoming Releases and Events

BattleTech’s Bryan Young Book Signing. LOTR. 40K. Actual human history—few lores rival the depth and breadth of BattleTech’s universe. June 1st, BattleTech author Bryan Young will be doing a book signing at the Provo Dragon’s Keep. Come with questions, come with your books, and come with enough cash-money to pick up Bryan’s latest novel.

Modern Horizons 3 Prerelease. Four commander decks. 15 new cards. Allied fetch lands and double-faced planeswalkers. Earth, heaven, and discord servers all over the nation shake at the third release of the modern horizons set. Dragon’s Keep will be hosting the prerelease at all four of our locations on June 7th as well as a release party on June 14th.

Age of Sigmar Fourth Edition??? To the many wargamers creeping on Warhammer’s community page for AoS updates, you’re not alone. We too are desperate for news on the newest edition of Games Workshop’s epic fantasy miniature war game. There are rumors the new edition could hit as early as June, so watch for rumors and get your pre-orders in as soon as the opportunity drops.

One Piece OP07 Release. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, aaaaand 7! Next month marks the 7th booster pack for the One Piece Card Game. June 28th, look forward to characters from the Egghead Arc and supporting cards for the Revolutionary Army, the Supernovas, and the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

Pride Commander Event. Earn your rainbow holographic print and explore the event-exclusive “all commanders have a partner” mechanic by participating in the Wizards of the Coast Pride Commander event from June 20th to 30th. All Dragon’s Keep-hosted commander events will be participating.

The Making of the Original Dungeons and Dragons 1970-1977. A title that deserves a home on every role-player’s shelf, this highly anticipated book is a collection of original printings, historical analysis, and a deep dive into the media surrounding the launch of the world’s most popular roleplaying game. The book drops on June 18th. It’s not one to miss.
