levi dkLEVI
Hey! As promised we continue to bring you an inside opportunity to get better acquainted with the team at Dragons Keep! This week, we bring you Levi. Enjoy, and remember on to the next game or great comic!

DK:First board or table top game you rember playing?

Levi: Humm, well I remeber playing things like Monopoly or Candyland as a kid but the first time I was really addicted to a game was Axis and Allies. I saved up all my money and bought that from the Keep when I was 12 years old. It took forever for them to get it in the shop but I was so excited when it finally arrived.

DK:What was the first comic book you read?

L: I have no idea, but a comic book that sticks out in my mind was when the Incredible Hulk was grey and only turned at night time. There was a comic when he fought Wolverine just because and I loved that comic. It left an impression. Ohh wait I remeber Davidson game me Frank Millers Dark Knight and that was a bit above my head but was a fantastic comic.

DK:What is currently your favorite game to play?

L: Well, I like Magic the Gathering, because I have it and I enjoy the buidling and strategy of the game. As far as board games I still think I love Axis and Allies but trying to find people willing to commit that kind of time is difficult.

DK:How about your favorite comic to read?

L: Well, I have been reading the Dragon Lance comics lately and they are pretty good although they do not hold a candel to the books even with the great art. I would have to say currently I am enoying reading through my X-men comics from the late 80s and early 90s. Currenly I am reading the Dark Tower which overall has been enjoyable.

DK:Best movie of all time?

L: Well, there are many that I loved. Without a genre to help break down the list it is impossible to say there is an absolute favorite, although I really did love the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

DK:All time favorite super hero and villian?

L: I like Green Lantern. I like them for different reasons. I like Green Lantern because his power is driven by his own creativity and imagination. Villian, humm I do not have a favorite villian.

DK:Favorite Band?

L: I like a lot of bands but overall I think either Pink Floyd or Led Zepplin.

DK:Words of Wisdom?

L: It is far better to be then to believe.

DK:What do you enjoy about being a part of DK?

L: I really love to see people having fun playing games, reading comics, and enjoying the entire Scifi and Fantasy genre. It is largely where I have found entertainment in my life and I love seeing others enjoy it as well.

The following is a brief history of the man, the myth.  Levi.  Written by his own hand so that you will see where he comes from and why he loves the 'Keep and everyone that keeps it alive.

I grew up in Michigan, I lived just a few blocks from Michigan State University, and our small home was surrounded by Sororaties, and Fraternaties.  In Michigan, one can trade in any kind of bottle or can for 10cents.  I would spend much of my free time scavanging the neighborhood, especially Saturday and Sunday mornings after the college students had their beer parties for these 10cent treasures.
I would take my earnings and go immediatly to the local comic shop/shops.  I was always very well received despite being only 8 years old.  I loved reading about the great adventures of Wolverine, Incredible Hulk, Batman, and a bit of Superman.  At that time I was a consumer of comics loving the stories with little regard for preservation.  I countinue my comic habit at Dragon's Keep when my family moved here.

My gaming started when I was around 9 years old.  I suppose my imagination started long before that but my older brother Davidson, (also co-owner with me of Dragon's Keep) bought me the old Red D&D core set.  It contained if I remeber correctly dice, a small adventure and the rules of play.  I was in love.  Although I could not find a single person to play with me I read the materials over and over again.
When I moved to Utah and was a bit older, my jedi mind tricks skill had grown and I was able to corral several of my friends into playing.
I still love the games, the community, the comics, and the general genre.

I am married. with 3 wonderful boys, Stryder, Ari, and Isaac.  I work full time as a financial Manager for the State of Utah, and in the midst of my Masters of Counseling.  I am still a big fan of D&D, comics, Magic the Gathering, and strategy board games like Axis and Allies, I have grown to understand and enjoy many other games whlie at the Keep.

I and My brother have a strong commitment to this community and while Dragon's Keep is a store and a business the community of gamers is at the heart of what makes it great.  We hope to serve this community by providing great customer service, good merchandise, and an atmosphere condusive for a fun relaxing playing entertainment.
